If you are in your mid thirties and beyond, I am sure that you have noticed a change in the skin above your eyes. Maybe it looks droopy or loose. Maybe you have to raise your eyebrows to put on your eye makeup. You may just think you look tired in photos. These are incredibly common concerns for many of our patients. We finally have a non-surgical way to treat those droopy eyelids… Morpheus8

If you have been with us for awhile, you have probably figured out that Morpheus8 is one of our favorite treatments. Morpheus8 has seen a huge increase in interest globally over the past couple of years. That’s because it works! It is one of the most effective skin tightening treatments available and helps our patients avoid surgery in many cases.

While a surgical blepharoplasty is still a great option for patients with sagging skin or skin laxity, many patients do not wish to undergo a surgical procedure. Morpheus8 helps our patients achieve a 50% improvement is the quality of their eyelid skin by using two modalities, microneedling and radiofrequency (RF). Microneedling involves insertion of tiny “micro” needles into the skin to stimulate collagen production and plump the skin. Radiofrequency (RF) energy delivers heat to the tissues, further stimulating collagen production and shrinking and tightening the fibroseptal connective tissue layers.

In as few as 3 treatments, patients experience a significant improvement in the appearance of their eyelid skin. The treatment is performed on the entire periorbital (eye) region leading to a more youthful and well rested appearance. Adding treatments like PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injection and neurotoxin injection further enhance the results.
