You’ve heard of Micro Lipo and Emsculpt, but let us introduce you to the missing piece of the body contouring trifecta: BodyTite by InMode.

Let’s start with fat removal.

You have already heard of Dr. Rachel McKinzie’s revolutionary procedure called Micro Lipo. Micro Lipo utilizes vibration assisted technology to make fat removal more effective while stimulating the fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin to mildly tighten the skin. It is performed with total local anesthesia and is just as effective as traditional liposuction without the downtime or having to be “put under.” We can safely remove up to five liters of fat from the target area to give you either debulking results or body contouring results that permanently eliminate fat deposits in the problem area. 

By adding BodyTite to Micro Lipo, we can further emulsify fat, but we are also able to deliver powerful radiogrequency energy to the external and internal tissues.

This RF (radiofrequency) energy contracts the skin of the dermis, coagulates fat, and contracts the connective tissue matrix which results in dramatic skin tightening results. The results are comparable to other more invasive treatments like “tummy tucks” or “lower face lifts.” All of this comes in the form of a scar-less, surgery-free procedure that is performed by a Board Certified physician under local anesthesia.

Curious how local anesthesia differs from traditional general anesthesia?

We get this question a lot. Local anesthesia is just IV fluid and Lidocaine with a little bit of epinephrine, and it works like a charm to keep our patients comfortable throughout their procedure. Worried about anxiety? Dr. McKinzie also prescribes medications for anxiety, nausea, and pain all taken orally before you arrive for the procedure. Patients often sleep during the procedure, but we also have a great time chatting with those who choose to stay awake. 

Now let’s talk about muscle.

Emsculpt is the missing piece of our contouring Trifecta. Emsculpt uses High Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEFM) energy to elicit supramaximal muscle contractions. These contractions are stronger than anything that we could produce on our own during typical exercise. The result is thickening and strengthening of the treated muscles. So after addressing unwanted fat and loose skin, we are able to strengthen the muscle to deliver results that even a standard “tummy tuck” couldn’t achieve.  Combining all three treatments guarantees a well-rounded treatment plan and address all three of the areas necessary to achieve a more contoured result.
