As far as downtime goes, M8 has all other resurfacing laser treatments like Halo and Fraxel beat hands down in terms of downtime. The average patient treating their face will have 24-48 hours of appearing like they have a moderate sunburn. Swelling is uncommon on the face. After 24 hours, makeup may be applied after follow up with your provider.
